This page will help guide you through the set-up process for a WordPress Blog and Shared Hosting Account on iPage, but why use iPage?
iPage provides great value for money if you are just starting out and are looking to host your own WordPress Blog. With 24/7 support you are not left to figure things out for yourself, but I have also got your back on with great resources on this blog.
As with everything I recommend, I’ve used iPage, their customer service is first rate and your low introductory price includes all of the bells and whistles for hosting a successful blog.
To get started, Click Here to be taken to the iPage sign-up page and click “Sign Up Now”
Step 1. – Select a Domain
Next, you need to register a new domain name for your blog (1st registration is included) or use an existing domain name that you have previously registered. Go ahead and find that perfect domain now.
Step 2. – Enter Your Billing Information
Now enter your Contact Information, Payment Information and finally select the plan you are wanting to use.
As a first time customer you will be offered a substantial discount, so go ahead and grab the maximum duration available which is 36 months as you won’t get this discount again when you renew.
Step 3. – Web Essentials
Now select the additional features you might like for your hosting account. I recommend at least the “Automate Your Site Backup” as it’s great peace of mind that your blog can be restored if needed
Step 4. – Verify and Continue
If you are happy with your Total Pricing then click ‘Check Out’
Step 5. – A Quick Survey
Just Click ‘No Thanks’ if you want to proceed

Step 10. – Terms of Service
Complete the Referral Information if you like and when you are happy with the Terms of Service, check the box and then click “Save & Continue”
Step 11. – Transferring a Domain
If you already have a domain, this pop-up will appear to guild you through a domain transfer to iPage , but this is NOT necessary and you can just instruct your registrar to point your domain nameservers to NS1.IPAGE.COM & NS2.IPAGE.COM.
Click ‘No Thanks’ if you don’t want to transfer your domain to iPage.
