Using YouTube to Improve Blog Traffic
I’ve been testing out YouTube over the last few months to see if it will really improve blog traffic for my blogs. And although this testing is still ongoing I’m convinced it really does help.
You see Google loves Google products because they’re great aren’t they?
Well, I certainly feel there’s a little bias set when promoting other Google products, and hey wouldn’t you if you were Google?
That said, linking a Youtube video in your blog is just good SEO practice, so I suggest this to new bloggers if it fits in with their blogging model.
And although ideally you want to link to your own YouTube video’s to take advantage of an extra backlink, any video is better than none.
So today I’ve created a video for someone who is stuck turning their video into something YouTube worthy.
And you can do all this for a very low cost. In fact, the editing software is actually free.
Using YouTube to Improve Blog Traffic
I recommend GoPro’s for creating your how to videos and even use one on my BrickFlick.TV YouTube channel to create simple videos. These videos are then linked to the blog.
So here’s a quick video showing you ‘How to Edit your Videos in GoPro Studio’
As you see it’s nice and simple and you should never let technology hold you back, from creating the things you are trying to achieve.
Blogging is tough at the best of times so any chance you get to improve blog traffic, is something worth considering.
This has only been a quick post today because I never want to miss an opportunity to create a little bit of content and share with you all, just in case it’s something that will help you along your blogging journey.
I’m sure there are plenty of other better GoPro Studio tutorials if you want to go deeper, but I just wanted to show, with a little effort, you too can turn a below par video into something that’s suitable for YouTube.
