I’ve been through some harrowing years prior to starting the blog business. Prior to my quest for entrepreneurship, I was a satisfied business manager of a medium size food industry. However, in 2009, when the economy hit a stumbling bloc, I was awaken from a rude shock that was so intense that it actually jolt me out of my comfort zone. The ugly side of the corporate rear its sinister head that tells me not to rely on your employer to be committed to your well being. You are responsible to yourself and do not ever expect your boss to take the slightest care about your emotional well being. It’s all about money and profitability.

Nothing comes free in this world. Imagine yourself, wanting to start a hotdog stand. Imagine again that you have found a great location at the beach for your new trade. Surprise surprise, there are at least 10 similar hotdog stalls at the same stretch of the shore. Therefore, how do you choose the niche that will separate you from the rest of the blog market? The answer is…you don’t choose. It chooses you! Remember the passion and love we were talking about in my second post 5 Reasons For Starting A Blog. However, you can still get yourself familiar with the following niche market as a reference for your up and coming blog in 2012:
1. Make Money Online
All new bloggers will want to start something about making a living from the internet, probably as a contribution of sort for the fellow onliners. Affiliate marketing, pay-per-click, dropshipping, banner marketing, eBay, Amazon Associate… However, many can attest to the fact that, this niche could have been milked to death by affiliate marketers. Just look at your email. Count how many incoming mails you received had actually originated from affiliate marketers…yeah those mails where they promised you thousands in a short time span.
